Aer Lingus US Flights Upgrades

Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP) Service

Aer Lingus will recommence flights to Minneapolis-Saint Paul on April 5, 2025. The service will utilize the state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR aircraft, marking a significant change from the previous year’s operations. Here are the key details:

  • Initial frequency: The route will start with fewer weekly flights
  • Gradual increase: Service will ramp up to daily flights (7x weekly)
  • Aircraft: A321XLR, a narrowbody aircraft with the longest range and better fuel efficiency
  • Comparison to 2024: Previously operated 4x weekly using the A330-200

Despite the shift to a smaller aircraft, MSP will see an overall increase in seat capacity for the season.

Denver (DEN) Service

The Denver route will resume slightly earlier, on March 30, 2025. Aer Lingus will continue to operate this service with their Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft. Key points include:

  • Initial frequency: The route will begin with fewer weekly flights
  • Gradual increase: Service will expand to 6x weekly
  • Aircraft: A330-200, maintaining the wide-body service from 2024
  • Comparison to 2024: Previously operated 4x weekly

The increase from 4 to 6 weekly flights represents a significant capacity boost for the Denver-Dublin route, reflecting strong demand and Aer Lingus’ growth strategy in the US market.
