Air New Zealand Sale

Jeremy O’Brien, Air New Zealand’s General Manager International, highlights the extensive range of destinations available at reduced prices. The airline’s joint venture partnerships with United Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Air China, and Singapore Airlines expand the sale’s reach beyond Air New Zealand’s direct network.

Travelers can access discounted fares to Air New Zealand’s direct destinations, including Vancouver, Tokyo, New York, and Shanghai. The sale extends to connecting flights to cities like London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Las Vegas, broadening options for international exploration.

These partnerships offer additional benefits to customers, including reciprocal frequent flyer perks such as earning and spending loyalty points and lounge access where available.

O’Brien emphasizes the sale’s value, citing example fares: Honolulu for $497, Shanghai for $499, Bali for $658, and Los Angeles for $693 for one-way Economy tickets.

Fares Start from $499 One-way

The sale provides travelers with affordable options for long-haul flights, making global travel more accessible.

In the USA and Canada, standout deals include Honolulu at $497, Los Angeles and San Francisco at $693, and New York at $747 for one-way Economy tickets. Vancouver flights are priced at $799, while Las Vegas starts at $797. Denver and Orlando are available at $892 and $952 respectively.

Asian destinations feature prominently in the sale, with Shanghai flights starting at $499 and Bali at $658. Tokyo is priced at $746, while Taipei, Hong Kong, and Seoul range from $678 to $699. Singapore flights begin at $787, and Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City are both available from $690. Phuket rounds out the Asian offerings at $772.

For travelers eyeing Europe, Air New Zealand offers flights to London, Paris, and Frankfurt, all priced at $1,027 for a one-way Economy ticket.

The sale period varies by region. Fares to Asian, UK, and European destinations are available until September 30, 2024. US and Canadian destination sales extend to October 4, 2024.

Travel periods span from October 2024 to August 2025, providing flexibility for future trip planning.

New Flights to Samoa and Fiji

Air NZ announces a significant expansion of its Pacific Islands flight capacity, effective November 2024 through March 2025. The airline will add tens of thousands of seats to its Pacific routes, increasing total capacity by 9 percent.

Key destinations benefiting from this expansion include Samoa, Nadi, Tonga, Rarotonga, and Tahiti. This move aims to strengthen regional ties, promote cultural exchange, and offer greater travel flexibility.

The capacity boost responds to rising demand for both leisure and business travel in the Pacific region. Air New Zealand’s decision aligns with its strategy to enhance regional connectivity and support economic development across the Pacific Islands.
