TORONTO- An Air Canada (AC) flight operated by 777, registered as C-FIUA heading to Delhi (DEL), India, was unexpectedly forced to return to Toronto (YYZ) due to an engine issue that occurred shortly after takeoff.
This incident led to the aircraft’s engine being shut down as a safety precaution, ultimately prompting the pilot to request a priority landing back at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The Air Canada flight, known as AC42, departed from Toronto Pearson International Airport and was en route to Delhi, India, on a routine flight. However, upon takeoff, the crew encountered an issue with one of the aircraft’s engines, prompting immediate action, reported CP24.
