Air France Unveils New Routes to Brazil, Maldives and Sweden

PARIS- Air France (AF) is expanding its network for the 2024-2025 winter season (November 2024 to March 2025) with new routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) to Salvador (Brazil), Malé (Maldives), and Kiruna (Sweden).

The airline will also extend its winter service to Denver (Colorado, USA) and Phoenix (Arizona, USA).

Air France New Routes

Starting October 28, 2024, Air France will offer three weekly flights to Salvador (Bahia State, Brazil) on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft with 324 seats.

This UNESCO World Heritage site will be Air France’s fifth destination in Brazil, joining Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Fortaleza, and Belém.

By winter 2024, the airline will run up to 30 flights a week to and from Brazil. Through a partnership with Brazilian carrier GOL, passengers can easily connect to 40 domestic destinations in Brazil.

From December 20, 2024, to January 5, 2025, Air France will provide up to two weekly flights to Malé (Maldives) on Fridays and Sundays, also using Airbus A350-900 aircraft equipped with 292 seats.

Starting December 21, 2024, Air France will offer one weekly flight to Kiruna (Sweden) on Saturdays, operated on Airbus A319s. Kiruna will be Air France’s fifth destination in Lapland, joining Rovaniemi (Finland), Kittilä (Finland), Tromsø (Norway), and Narvik Lofoten (Norway, summer only).

Located 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is an excellent starting point to explore the region’s pristine nature and witness the Northern Lights.

More Flights to the United States

Air France is set to enhance its service to the United States this winter by extending flights to Denver (Colorado) and Phoenix (Arizona) from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

The airline will offer three flights a week to each city.

Previously, flights to Denver were available only during the summer. The Phoenix route, which is new for summer 2024, will launch on May 23.
