Avelo Airlines’ Biggest Expansion, Announces 18 New Routes

HOUSTON- Avelo Airlines (XP) has launched its biggest expansion yet, adding 18 nonstop routes and entering the international market. The airline will now fly to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Cancun, Mexico, marking its first scheduled international service.

Avelo expands its operations in Connecticut and Central Florida, setting up a new base at Bradley International Airport in Hartford.

Avelo Airlines Biggest Expansion

The company’s network has grown to 52 destinations across 23 states, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Mexico. Flights on these new routes will start this fall, operating twice weekly on Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Avelo offers competitive one-way fares starting at $52.

New routes from Hartford

Avelo Airlines expands its network from Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Hartford, Connecticut. The airline introduces seven new routes, including two international destinations.

Flights to Cancun, Mexico begin November 20, operating Wednesdays and Saturdays. Montego Bay, Jamaica service starts November 16, also on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Domestic routes include Charlotte/Concord, North Carolina, launching November 7 with Thursday and Sunday flights. Daytona Beach, Florida flights commence November 8, running Mondays and Fridays.

Houston Hobby service begins November 15, operating Mondays and Fridays. Orlando/Lakeland, Florida flights start November 8, scheduled for Mondays and Fridays. Wilmington, North Carolina flights launch November 7, flying Thursdays and Sundays.

Avelo adds a connection between Wilmington and Fort Myers, Florida. This route begins November 7, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. The new services enhance travel options for Connecticut residents and visitors.

International routes open Caribbean destinations to New England travelers. Domestic additions connect Hartford to southern cities and popular Florida locations.

Routes from Lakeland Int’l Airport

Avelo Airlines expands its operations at Lakeland International Airport (LAL) in Central Florida. The carrier introduces seven new routes, enhancing connectivity to major cities across the eastern United States and Puerto Rico.

Flights to Atlanta begin November 7, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. This route connects Central Florida to the busiest airport in the world. Boston/Manchester service starts October 25, with flights on Mondays and Fridays. This addition provides a direct link to New England.

Charlotte/Concord flights launch on October 24, running on Thursdays and Sundays. The route offers access to North Carolina’s largest city. Hartford service begins November 8, operating on Mondays and Fridays. This connection strengthens Avelo’s presence in both the Florida and Connecticut markets.

Philadelphia/Wilmington flights start November 7, scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays. This route serves the Delaware Valley region. Rochester service commences October 25, flying Mondays and Fridays. The addition opens up travel options to upstate New York.

Avelo begins flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 26. This route, operating Wednesdays and Saturdays, marks the airline’s expansion into Caribbean markets from Lakeland.

Flights to Albany, New York start November 7, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. This route connects Charlotte to New York’s capital region. Boston/Manchester service also begins November 7, running on Thursdays and Sundays. The addition provides a direct link to New England.
