British Airways London-Dallas Flight

As of 24APR24, British Airways will be restoring Airbus A380 service on the London Heathrow – Dallas/Ft. Worth route. The A380 will operate during the second half of the season, replacing the Boeing 787-10 aircraft from 01 Jan 25 to 29 Mar 25.

This upgrade to the A380 demonstrates British Airways’ commitment to providing passengers with top-tier comfort, style, and efficiency on their long-haul flights.

Flight Schedule

The flight schedule for the London Heathrow – Dallas/Ft. Worth route will be as follows:

  • BA193 LHR1040 – 1505DFW: Departure from London Heathrow at 10:40 AM, arriving in Dallas/Ft. Worth at 3:05 PM.
  • BA192 DFW1850 – 0945+1LHR: Departure from Dallas/Ft. Worth at 6:50 PM, arriving at London Heathrow at 9:45 AM the next day.

British Airways operates approximately seven to eight A380 departures daily from London Heathrow, which ranks as the world’s third-largest airport for widebody aircraft. Moreover, it is recognized as one of the leading airports globally for accommodating four-engined widebody aircraft.

Top Features of BA A380s

British Airways has provided its premium economy offering, known as “World Traveller Plus,” for over two decades on most of their long-haul Airbus and Boeing aircraft.

Across various aircraft models, this class is typically arranged in a 2-4-2 layout, which is quite standard. However, the A380 is unique among BA aircraft, alongside the Boeing 787, in featuring a more spacious 2-3-2 layout, offering enhanced passenger comfort.

On British Airways Airbus A380 aircraft, the first-class cabin is configured in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout, which is considered a standard for modern business class cabins. However, BA’s Club World (business class) offers a unique blend of various layouts. On the main deck, lie-flat beds are arranged in a “2-4-2” configuration, while on the upper deck, they adopt a “2-3-2” setup.

Contrary to the three or four-class configurations offered by other airlines, SeatGuru notes that none exceed three classes on one deck and two on the other. However, British Airways’ A380s stand out as both decks are divided among three classes.

The main deck hosts the first class, followed by one business class and two economy sections. Meanwhile, the upper deck accommodates two small business class cabins, premium economy, and two economy sections, with the final economy section notably small, comprising only 32 seats.
