ATLANTA- Delta Air Lines (DL) is deploying its advanced Airbus A330neo aircraft across multiple transatlantic and South American routes starting summer of 2025.

This strategic fleet update marks Delta’s continued phase-out of Boeing 767 aircraft from long-haul operations.

Delta A330neo Routes

The airline will operate the A330neo from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Barcelona (BCN), Lisbon (LIS), and Milan (MXP), Ishrion Aviation reported.

Furthermore, the A330neo service will connect New York JFK Airport to Lisbon and São Paulo (GRU).

The A330neo, featuring enhanced fuel efficiency and passenger amenities, represents Delta’s commitment to modernizing its international fleet.

The transition aligns with Delta’s broader strategy to optimize its route network with newer aircraft.

The airline’s systematic replacement of Boeing 767s with A330neos on long-distance routes signals a significant shift in its fleet composition and operational capabilities.

New Leisure Routes

Delta Air Lines launches new Saturday flights connecting major hubs to popular summer destinations across the United States and the Caribbean, responding to increased leisure travel demand for Summer 2025.

Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport adds nonstop Boeing 737-800 service to Bangor, Maine, and Rapid City, South Dakota, operating from June 8 to September 7, 2025. These routes enhance access to New England’s coastal regions and South Dakota’s Black Hills attractions.

Detroit Metropolitan Airport emerges as the primary expansion hub, introducing four new destinations. The hub will operate Boeing 737-900 flights to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from May 10 to August 2, 2025.

Further, Detroit routes include Airbus A319 service to Bozeman, Montana, plus Boeing 717 connections to Florida’s Gulf Coast destinations – Pensacola and Destin-Fort Walton Beach – all running June 8 through September 7, 2025.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport strengthens its western United States presence with a new Airbus A319 service to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, operating June 8 through September 7, 2025. This route provides direct access to Grand Teton National Park and surrounding wilderness areas.
