Emirates Approves New Salary Structure for Employees from July 2024

DUBAI- Emirates (EK) Airline Group has unveiled a comprehensive employee benefits package which include the hike in salary and other crucial benefits to its staff, set to launch on July 1, 2024.

The new initiative aims to enhance work-life balance and financial stability for its workforce.

Emirates Hikes Employees Salary

1) Salary and Allowance Increases:

  • 4% boost in base salary
  • 4% increase in transportation allowances
  • 4% rise in UAE national allowances
  • 4% uptick in flight crew working hours
  • 10-15% increase in subsistence and accommodation allowances

2) Enhanced Parental Leave:

  • Maternity leave extended from 60 to 90 days
  • Paid nursing breaks for new mothers doubled to two hours daily
  • Paternity leave increased from 5 to 10 working days

Employees can expect contractual amendment letters detailing the new base salary and fixed allowances by July 22, 2024.
