Strengthening Partnership with Avianca

The new daily service to Bogotá will offer travelers from Colombia convenient access to Dubai via Miami, along with connections to popular destinations in the Far East, West Asia, and Africa.

With the recent codeshare agreement with Avianca, Emirates customers can now fly directly to three destinations in Colombia—Bogotá, Medellin, and Cali—from Madrid, Barcelona, or London Heathrow.

This partnership provides seamless connectivity and added convenience, making travel more straightforward. Codeshare flights available for customers include routes from Madrid to Bogotá, Medellin, or Cali; Barcelona to Bogotá; and London Heathrow to Bogotá.

Passengers of both airlines will benefit from seamless connectivity, easy booking of itineraries on a single ticket, competitive fares, and a unified baggage policy.

To facilitate the global movement of commodities and goods, the new Boeing 777-300ER services will provide up to 20 tonnes of cargo capacity per flight. This will enhance access to international markets for Colombian exports such as fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, and other perishable goods.

Colombians have become one of the fastest-growing diaspora communities in the UAE and are the largest among Latin American communities there.

Emirates’ services will connect Colombians to the airline’s global network of over 140 destinations, offering world-class service with industry-leading products.
