Emirates Reveals New Lounge in Paris Ahead of Olympics 2024

PARIS- UAE’s flag carrier Emirates Airlines (EK) has launched its highly anticipated premium lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

The 925-square-meter lounge, located in Terminal 2C, opened its doors earlier this week to welcome First and Business Class customers, as well as Emirates Skywards members.

Emirates Paris Lounge

As the world’s largest international airline, Emirates has invested nearly AED 3.5 million to create an extraordinary lounge experience in Paris, focusing on unparalleled comfort and convenience.

The lounge accommodates up to 165 guests and features a modern design with new furnishings, cozy chairs and sofas, enhanced shower facilities with VOYA products, complimentary Wi-Fi, and stunning views of the airport runway.

Guests can enjoy an exquisite selection of food and beverages, including local dishes like pan-fried fillet of beef with béarnaise sauce, poached fillet of cod with vierge sauce, cheese board spreads, and rich desserts.

The lounge also offers premium spirits, a variety of French wines from renowned regions such as Bordeaux, and the finest Moet & Chandon champagnes.

The lounge provides unique seating arrangements for dining, lounging, and quiet relaxation spaces, showcasing Emirates’ dedication to high-quality travel experiences for its French customers.

Emirates currently operates 39 airport lounges worldwide, including seven in Dubai (DXB) and 32 at major international airports.

30+ years of Partnership

Emirates’ partnership with Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, dating back to 1992, continues to thrive. Last year, the airline collaborated with Extime to provide premium travelers with a dedicated lounge space in Terminal 1.

Now, with the renovations in Terminal 2 complete, customers can look forward to even more “fly better” moments and the world-class services Emirates is renowned for.

Emirates currently operates 21 weekly flights to Paris, including three daily Airbus A380 flights. Further, the airline also serves Nice with a daily A380 service and Lyon with a daily Boeing 777 flight, which will transition to a daily A350 service from December 1.

Emirates’ extensive network of over 130 destinations offers French travelers seamless connections to Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa, and Australasia.

The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and branded as Paris 2024, is an upcoming international multi-sport event. Scheduled from July 26 to August 11, 2024, the event will take place in France, with Paris as the main host city.

The games will also be held in 16 other cities across Metropolitan France, plus one subsite in Tahiti, an island in the French overseas country and overseas collectivity of French Polynesia.
