ABU DHABI- Etihad Airways (EY) launches an early bird offer for autumn travel. The promotion runs from July 15 to 19, offering discounts on flights to popular destinations across its global network. The travel period covers September 1 to November 30, 2024.
Further, Etihad and Batik Air (ID) Malaysia launched a codeshare partnership to enhance connectivity for their passengers.

Codeshare with Batik Air
This collaboration allows Etihad’s guests to access eight new destinations through Batik’s hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Passengers can now book single-ticket journeys with seamless luggage transfer to their final destination.
The agreement expands Etihad’s reach to five new domestic Malaysian destinations: Johor Bahru, Langkawi, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, and Tawau. It also adds three international points: Da Nang and Hanoi in Vietnam, and Perth in Australia.
This partnership benefits both inbound and outbound Malaysian travelers by offering a wider range of flight options on the combined networks. Etihad’s twice-daily flights from Abu Dhabi to Kuala Lumpur serve as the gateway for customers to access Batik’s network.
The codeshare agreement strengthens Etihad’s presence in Southeast Asia and Australasia, providing more travel options for its global customer base. It also enhances Batik Air Malaysia’s international connectivity by linking its network to Etihad’s global routes.
