French Bee to Deploy A350-1000 Daily on New York-Paris Route

PARIS- A long-haul low-cost carrier, French Bee (BF) is set to enhance its Paris Orly (ORY)– Newark (EWR) route with the introduction of the Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in the Northern summer 2025 season.

The airline will deploy this 480-seat aircraft on a daily basis, marking a significant capacity increase on this transatlantic route.

French Bee Paris to Newark

The new service will commence on April 12, 2025, initially operating once weekly on Saturdays. French Bee plans to ramp up the frequency to daily flights starting May 4, 2025, demonstrating the airline’s confidence in passenger demand on this route, Aeroroutes reported.

The flight schedule for the A350-1000 service is as follows:

  • BF720 departs Paris Orly at 18:50, arriving in Newark at 21:00.
  • BF721 leaves Newark at 23:00, landing in Paris Orly at 12:15 the next day.

French Bee will also maintain its existing service with the 411-seat A350-900. From May 16, 2025, flights BF726 and BF727 will operate three times weekly using this aircraft. The schedule for these flights is:

  • BF726 departs Paris Orly at 20:20, reaching Newark at 22:30.
  • BF727 leaves Newark at 01:15, arriving in Paris Orly at 14:30.

Notably, the A350-1000 will temporarily replace the -900 on these flights on May 21 and 22, 2025, providing additional capacity during this period.

All Airbus A350 Operator

French Bee is an A350 operator and has a fleet of six Airbus A350 aircraft including four A350-900 and two A350-1000. The Paris-based carrier’s latest delivery of A350 is in December 2022. Four out of six planes are on lease. It once operated a sole Airbus A330-300

As of June 2024, the 8-year-old carrier serves six destinations from the Paris-Oryl base. It flies to Papeete, Saint-Denis, and four destinations in the United States including Los Angeles, Miami, Newark and San Francisco.

The airline has a codeshare agreement with its sister carrier Air Caraïbes. It also has six interline agreements with American and European carriers.

French Bee provides Premium economy (Premium Blue) and economy (Eco Blue) seating options to its passengers. Airbus A350-1000 has 40 such seats which have a 2-4-2 configuration and 440 economy seats. While the A350-900 has 35 Premium Blue seats in 2-3-2 configuration and 376 Eco Blue seats.

Currently, A350-1000 serve Paris Orly (ORY)-Saint-Denis (RUN) route exclusively. But this is going to change soon. Subsequently, A350-900 serve all the routes.
