IndiGo New Flights to Bishkek

The Government of India has designated IndiGo as the official carrier for this route. The airline has secured permission to operate daily flights, offering seven weekly connections between the two capitals, 24.kg reported.

Ambassador Askar Beshimov pledged full support to facilitate the airline’s operations. He highlighted a key travel benefit for Indian citizens, noting that those holding long-term multiple visas for the USA, UK, or Schengen countries can enter Kyrgyzstan visa-free for up to 7 days. This privilege includes the right to re-enter after a 21-day interval.

The discussion also led to an agreement between IndiGo and Kyrgyzstan to collaborate in promoting tourism between the two nations. This partnership aims to boost bilateral travel and cultural exchange.
