LEEDS- Jet2 (LS) and Jet2CityBreaks announce their largest Winter City Breaks program for 2025/26, introducing a new route from Manchester (MAN) to Porto (OPO).
The expanded offering includes almost 700,000 seats in European city break destinations, responding to increased customer demand for cultural, historical, culinary, and sightseeing experiences.
Jet2 Manchester to Porto and More
Manchester Airport will offer twice-weekly flights to Porto during November and from mid-February, aligning with the February half-term holiday.
Porto, Europe’s Leading City Break Destination 2023, provides visitors with a UNESCO-recognized cityscape, rich history, authentic street food, museums, and wine tours.
The program features ten destinations: Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Vienna, Venice, and the newly added Porto. Flights will operate from eight UK airports: Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle International, and London Stansted.
Jet2 and Jet2CityBreaks launch their largest Winter 25/26 city break program, offering flexible travel options for winter, Christmas, and February half-term holidays. The schedule features convenient flight times for both long weekends and mid-week breaks, catering to diverse budgets and preferences.
Customers can choose between flight-only bookings with Jet2.com or ATOL-protected package holidays through Jet2CityBreaks. Package options include accommodations ranging from 2 to 5 stars, optimal flight schedules, ATOL protection, complimentary 10kg hand luggage, and 22kg hold baggage on all European city routes, available with a £60 per person deposit.
The companies plan to unveil details of their popular Christmas Markets program for Winter 25/26 shortly, further expanding travel options for customers.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, emphasized the program’s response to customer demand for planning. He highlighted the new Manchester to Porto route and the expanded selection of city break destinations, promising easier access to top European cities for holidaymakers.

Birmingham Airport will serve eight cities: Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Rome, Krakow, Prague, Venice, and Vienna, with frequencies ranging from two to four weekly flights.
East Midlands Airport focuses on Krakow and Prague, offering two weekly flights to each destination.
Edinburgh Airport provides services to Rome and Prague, with two weekly flights for both cities.
Glasgow Airport connects to Rome, Krakow, and Prague, each with two weekly flights.
Leeds Bradford Airport expands its offerings with six destinations: Barcelona, Budapest, Paris, Rome, Krakow, and Prague. Paris stands out with four weekly services, while others maintain two weekly flights.
London Stansted Airport concentrates on Athens and Rome, providing two weekly flights to each city.
Manchester Airport boasts the most extensive selection with nine destinations, including a new Winter route to Porto. Athens, Barcelona, Budapest, Rome, Krakow, and Prague each receive four weekly flights, while Vienna and Venice maintain two weekly services.
Newcastle International Airport rounds out the program with flights to Rome, Krakow, and Prague, each operating twice weekly.
