JetBlue Begins Second New York-Paris Flight for Olympics 2024

NEW YORK- JetBlue Airways (B6) Inaugurates second daily flight between New York John F Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

This comes as New York based carrier anticipates increased travel demand for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, scheduled from July 26 to August 11.

Last year, more than 1.4 million passengers traveled between New York JFK and Paris CDG, making it the second-busiest international route from JFK, after London Heathrow, which saw over 2.3 million passengers.

Boston-Paris Flight

Earlier this year, JetBlue introduced its second route to the French capital, flying from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This new route competes directly with Air France and Delta Air Lines. Dave Clark, JetBlue’s Head of Revenue and Planning, remarked:

The response to our New York-Paris flight has been overwhelming, and we’ve been looking forward to adding a daily flight from Boston as well. Boston customers have not had many options when flying to Paris, so we are excited to offer affordable fares and an incredible onboard experience, bringing real competition to this market.”

Dave Clark, Head of Revenue and Planning of JetBlue

In 2022, Paris CDG was the second-busiest international route from Boston, with over 425,000 passengers, surpassing Dublin (390,000 passengers) and trailing only London Heathrow (865,000 passengers).

JetBlue primarily operates its transatlantic flights with the Airbus A321LR, except for some London flights and seasonal services, which use the Airbus A321neo. These aircraft feature 144 economy class seats and 16 Mint Suites.
