Executive Remarks

Stephanie Wear, VP of Aviation Development at London Gatwick, said: “It’s fantastic that London Gatwick can offer passengers such a wide range of destinations this summer, whether for holidays, visiting family and friends, or business trips.

“As we strive to become the airport for everyone, regardless of their journey, we are committed to providing passengers with as much choice as possible. We are excited to expand our extensive network and welcome new airlines, including ITA Airways, Atlantic Airways, Azores Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and FlyErbil.

“We look forward to welcoming passengers flying from London Gatwick this summer. Once at the airport, 95% of passengers typically pass through security in less than five minutes and can enjoy excellent retail and dining options.”

Starting on 18 August, Air India will launch a new flight between London Gatwick and Bengaluru. Services to Bangkok (Thailand), Islamabad (Pakistan), and Rovaniemi (Finland) will also begin later this year.

London Gatwick is investing in its long-term future, with its planning application to regularly use the Northern Runway now in the examination phase with the Planning Inspectorate.
