BERLIN- To mark the beginning of the Berlin International Airshow (ILA), Lufthansa (LH) will fly its “European aircraft” to Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).
The Airbus A320 emblazoned with the slogan “Yes to Europe,” will connect Berlin’s airport with Lufthansa’s hub in Frankfurt 13 times on June 5 and 6, 2024.
Lufthansa Sending ‘Yes to Europe’ A320 to Berlin
Since mid-April, four Lufthansa Group Airlines Airbus A320s have been serving as ambassadors for the European idea.
Alongside Lufthansa, aircraft from Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings also display the prominent “Yes to Europe” slogan on their fuselages. This initiative by the Lufthansa Group aims to send a clear message in support of a united, free, and peaceful Europe and to encourage participation in the EU elections.
The European Parliament elections will take place from June 6 to 9, 2024. In Germany, citizens are called to vote on June 9.
Last Month, at Brussels Airport (BRU), the Lufthansa Group conveyed a resounding message advocating for a robust Europe.
Four specially liveried Airbus A320s from Lufthansa Airlines (LH), Austrian Airlines (OS), Brussels Airlines (SN), and Eurowings (EW) convened simultaneously, adorned with the striking slogan ‘Yes to Europe’ and the emblem of the European circle of stars on their fuselage sides. This unified initiative ahead of the upcoming European elections aims to prompt individuals to take a stance and fortify democracy.
These four specially liveried Lufthansa Group Airbus A320s, featuring the ‘Yes to Europe’ slogan, have been traversing the European continent for several weeks, serving as airborne ambassadors of the European vision in the lead-up to the European elections.
