FARNBOROUGH- Qatar Airways (QR) introduced its cutting-edge ‘Qsuite Next Gen’ business class suite for its Boeing 777-9 aircraft at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024.
Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Qatar Airways Group CEO, presented the new design, showcasing the airline’s commitment to luxury and innovation.

The reveal took place in the presence of the Qatari Minister of Transport, His Excellency Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti, and Mohamed Faleh Alhajri, Acting President of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
Sama, the world’s first AI Digital Human cabin crew, assisted in the presentation, highlighting the airline’s focus on technological advancement. The AI engaged with the audience, building anticipation for the new features.
Qsuite Next Gen boasts several enhancements over its predecessor. Fully customizable Quad Suites offer flexibility for group travel. Window aisles now feature Companion Suites, catering to travelers seeking shared experiences.
The new design incorporates 4K OLED maneuverable in-flight entertainment screens, providing passengers with superior viewing quality and convenience. Each suite offers increased space and privacy, further elevating the business-class experience.
Engr. Al-Meer emphasized the significance of this unveiling, stating that Qatar Airways has once again set a new standard in business class travel. He invited media and partners to experience the future of air travel at their stand throughout the week.

Qatar Airways unveils its innovative Qsuite Next Gen, designed to enhance work-life balance for professionals, friends, and families. The redesigned Quad Suite features movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screens, a world-first in aviation.
The new screens create expansive social and productivity spaces. Quad Suites accommodate up to four passengers, while Companion Suites cater to two. This design promotes collaboration and shared experiences in the air.
Qsuite Next Gen improves dining experiences, a key aspect of Qatari heritage. Taller, digitally controlled dividers offer increased privacy. Larger lie-flat and double beds enhance comfort, complemented by Qatar Airways’ 5-star turn-down service with a ‘Make My Bed’ feature.
The Companion Suite now offers shared space in window aisles, mirroring Quad Suite features. This upgrade expands options for travelers seeking a more social flying experience.
Advanced technology integration allows passengers to customize their environment. The upgraded touchscreen Passenger Control Units provide control over ambient lighting and privacy settings.

Qatar Executive’s Gulfstream G700 joins the display, showcasing its spacious cabin with four living areas and a private rear stateroom. Qatar Executive plans to expand its fleet with four additional G700s and six more in the next 18 months.
These aircraft connect passengers to over 170 global destinations through Hamad International Airport, recently voted World’s Best Airport and World’s Best Airport Shopping by Skytrax.
