SAS Begins New Flights between Atlanta and Copenhagen, Denmark

ATLANTA- To meet the increasing demand for travel between Scandinavia and the United States, SAS (SK) is expanding its North American network by adding a ninth destination.

Beginning June 17th, SAS will offer daily nonstop flights from Copenhagen (CPH) to Atlanta (ATL), providing a new direct route to the U.S.

SAS Atlanta to Copenhagen Flight

Atlanta is rich in cultural experiences, historic landmarks, diverse cuisine, and a vibrant sports scene, making it a worthwhile destination.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, which handled nearly 104 million passengers in 2023, is the world’s busiest and most efficient airport.

On September 1, 2024, SAS will join SkyTeam. With Atlanta serving as a major hub for SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines, SAS customers will gain seamless access to the extensive SkyTeam network, which includes over 1,060 destinations across all member airlines.

Subsequently, SAS has already started integrating Delta Air Lines (DL) flights into its itineraries, enhancing customer connectivity options.

SAS will operate the route with both Airbus A330 and A350 aircraft, offering three travel classes: SAS Business, SAS Plus, and SAS Go.
