DENVER- Southwest Airlines Flight 225 took off from Denver International Airport while takeoff Southwest Airlines Tire Blown. However, 41 minutes into the flight, it turned back to Denver, as reported by FlightAware.
On Friday, Southwest confirmed that the Boeing 737-800 “returned safely” to Denver due to a tire failure during takeoff.

According to USA Today, the airline stated that the pilots declared an emergency before landing, following standard safety procedures.
The flight landed without incident and taxied off the runway. A different aircraft operated the scheduled flight to Phoenix. No one was injured.
Southwest thanked customers for their patience and flight crew members for their professionalism.
Boulder resident Julianna Donadio described a nerve-wracking scene aboard the plane after a loud noise during takeoff.

“They started preparing us for the crash position, instructing us to put our heads between our knees, and they informed the emergency exit row on how to open the doors and operate the slides.
Flight attendants told passengers that an emergency landing was imminent, and we began to panic a little, Donadio said.
‘People were definitely crying, screaming, and trying to console each other,’ she added.”
