Honolulu Route Modifications:
- Honolulu-Kahului: Frequency reduction from 77 to 55 weekly flights, effective April 8, 2025
- Honolulu-Kona: Decreased from 42 to 34 weekly flights, effective April 8, 2025
- Honolulu-Las Vegas: Service frequency increased to 3 daily flights, commencing June 5, 2025
- Honolulu-Lihue: Reduced from 42 to 34 weekly flights, effective April 8, 2025
- Honolulu-Oakland: Scaled back from 2 to 1 daily flight, effective April 8, 2025
- Honolulu-Phoenix: Reduced from 2 to 1 daily flight, effective April 8, 2025
Kahului Route Adjustments:
- Kahului-Las Vegas: Decreased from 2 to 1 daily flight, effective April 8, 2025
- Kahului-Long Beach: Suspension of 2 weekly service
- Kahului-Oakland: Reduced from 2 to 1 daily flight
- Kahului-San Jose: Increased from 2 to 5 weekly flights, effective June 5, 2025
Kona Route Modifications:
- Kona-Los Angeles: Resumed with 2 weekly flights from June 7 to August 3, 2025 (reduced from 5 weekly in 2024)
- Kona-Oakland: Suspension of 1 daily service, effective March 6, 2025
- Kona-Sacramento: Reintroduction of 1 daily 737 MAX 8 service
Detailed Kona-Sacramento Schedule (Effective June 5 – August 4, 2025):
- WN3548: Departs Kona at 10:00, arrives in Sacramento at 18:05
- WN3670: Departs Sacramento at 09:30, and arrives in Kona at 12:00
Lihue Route Adjustment:
- Lihue-Los Angeles: Service resumption with 1 daily flight from June 7 to August 3, 2025 (reduced from 2 daily in 2024)
New Summer 2025 Routes
Southwest Airlines is also introducing a comprehensive network expansion for summer 2025, featuring 33 overnight flights and 13 new Redeye services across multiple destinations. The strategic route additions enhance travel flexibility and provide passengers with increased connectivity options.
Redeye Flight Network Expansion:
Southwest will launch overnight flights from the following routes:
- Honolulu to Los Angeles
- Lihue, Hawaii to Las Vegas
- Long Beach, California to Baltimore/Washington
- Ontario, California to Baltimore/Washington
- Portland, Oregon to Baltimore/Washington
- Sacramento, California to Orlando
- San Francisco to Baltimore/Washington and Nashville
- San Jose, California to Baltimore/Washington
- Seattle to Baltimore/Washington, Chicago, Houston, and Nashville
These Redeye services complement the airline’s existing overnight flight portfolio, offering travelers more convenient and time-efficient travel options across the United States.
Seasonal Route Expansion:
Southwest is introducing a new seasonal service between Colorado Springs and Cancun, Mexico, commencing June 14, 2025. The Saturday-only flights provide Colorado residents direct access to a popular beach destination, addressing growing leisure travel demand.

The airline is resuming and expanding daily seasonal routes connecting key U.S. cities:
- Austin to Boston
- Baltimore/Washington to Portland and Seattle
