After a 16-hour journey, the World Champions arrived in India early on July 4, with the Air India (AI) flight bearing the call sign ‘AIC24WC,’ symbolizing India’s T20 World Cup win.

The champion team received a rousing reception from fans who thronged the Delhi airport to welcome their heroes. Rohit Sharma lifted the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy as fans went wild, eager to catch a glimpse of the Indian team.

The team then proceeded to the ITC Maurya hotel in Delhi for a cake-cutting ceremony. They soon visited PM Modi’s residence at Lok Kalyan Marg, where they enjoyed a light-hearted interaction and took photos.
